Newark Riverfront Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Concept Development Study Community Input Survey

The City of Newark would like you to participate in the Newark Riverfront Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Concept Development (CD) Study by completing this survey. This study will explore ways to enhance access for pedestrians, bicycles, and other travel modes along the Center Street/Park Place corridor, from Broad Street to McCarter Highway.

Completing a CD Study is the first undertaking in the project development process. The CD Study will result in identifying a feasible solution that meets the project purpose. After completing the study, the project will advance to the subsequent phases, which are: Preliminary Engineering (PE), Final Design (FD), and Construction. Your participation provides valuable input for developing recommendations for future improvements.

Other opportunities for local input include, a Stakeholders meeting in early 2024, followed by a Public Information Center (PIC). We will share information on the existing conditions of the project study area and obtain input from the stakeholders and the public.

Please note, this survey only applies to the Center Street/Park Place corridor, from Broad Street to McCarter Highway.
